Series 7 Chair in Monochrome by Fritz Hansen
by Fritz Hansen
The Series 7 is one of Arne Jacobsen’s most iconic designs. It has been reimagined in a monochrome blue hue for modern homes.
Product Story
The monochrome Trieste blue Series 7 Chair from Fritz Hansen is one of the most enduring 20th-century designs. First designed in 1955 by mid-century modern master Arne Jacobsen, the chair is a truly timeless piece. The seat’s flowing form echoes 1960s pop, while the powder-coated tubular legs nod to modernist, industrial-inspired design. The Series 7 Chair is the culmination of intense experimentation with pressure-moulded wood. This technique is still used to craft the chair’s swooping curves and the pinched, cutaway waistline.
