The story behind this product

Mezzanine was created by iconic British textile designer Lucienne day, who designed more than 70 patterns for heal’s and whose work is synonymous with Mid-century design. Mezzanine is a furnishing fabric printed with geometric, rectangular abstract shapes typical of day’s work. It is now held in the V&A archive. A range of cushions will be produced to celebrate the heal’s 100 using the Mezzanine print.
Heal’s 100, is a curated exhibition showing the 100 best items sold at Heal’s in the last 100 years. The selection of products is not only based on what the company sells today, but also pieces from Heal’s archive, now held by the V&A museum. Cushions made from this vintage fabric are now available from our Tottenham Court Road store.
