Bringing to life various vintage prints, the Print Sisters chose the Willow Tree for its scenic aestheticism that weaves together rich colours and mythology. Originally designed in 1925, this textile piece was printed using carved woodblock plates — a technique that layers colours over each other to achieve rich hues. The willow tree depicted in pastel blues, greens, and pinks draws on Celtic and Greek mythology, revering the tree for its wisdom, strength, and flexibility. This archive print was restored by sisters Claudia and Alexia and reproduced digitally on sustainably sourced bamboo paper.
