The Pelagus Armchair epitomizes the spirit of the Pelagus collection, a series created with grace and sociability in mind and a contemporary expression in which the materials speak for themselves. High on comfort for long dinners, the armchair has wide wooden armrests while still being slender enough to group around a table.
  • Designed by Note Design Studio, a multi-disciplinary collective with a hollistic approach - always imagining the furniture in its architectural and spatial context.
  • Constructed using teak, a sturdy wood with a high natural oil content, perfect for resisting the outdoors.
  • Enforcing responsible design, the teak is acquired through FSC-certified sources from Central America, Brazil and Indonesia.

Care & Buying Guide

Cleaning: Wipe off after use with a dry cloth, and use a suitable wood cleaner and a soft bristle brush for deeper cleans. Rinse afterwards with water and let dry for 24 hours.

Maintenance: Re-tighten screws once in a while. As the wood is untreated, the surface will patinate over time and eventually turn a beautiful silvery grey - if you wish to preserve or intensify the original honey-golden colour, use a suitable furniture oil on a regular basis.

Winter Storage: The wood is resistant to everyday wind and weather with or without treatment due to the high content of natural oils. However, if possible, we recommend storing the furniture in an unheated room during the winter months.

  • Deliveries are Mon-Fri but Saturday slots can often be arranged for most of the country.

Hassle-free returns

  • All online furniture orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery, regardless of reason.
  • Contact us and we will arrange for a crew to come out and collect the furniture.
  • There's no charge if it's faulty, but we do charge for change-of-mind returns.
