An angular occasional table for simple storage and style

Crafted from black American walnut, the Tall Maia is made in Portugal within De La Espada’s specialist workshops.

Made up of simple forms and angled lines, this practical side table-come-shelf exhibits wonderful curved joinery along smooth surface.

Finished in Danish oil, the Tall Maia’s classic craft works well in traditional settings while Matthew Hilton’s contemporary styling makes it ideal for modern interiors.

Matthew Hilton

Designing for leading furniture makers such as Case, De La Espada and SCP, many of Hilton's designs are considered icons with pieces such as his Balzac Chair held in the permanent collection of the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Working in premium materials such as solid wood, cast iron, and brass, in 2007 Hilton launched his eponymous brand as a place where he could have complete creative control.
