Michael Anastassiades’ Sphere String Light was inspired by the cables of electricity that stretch between pylons. The light’s cable is reinforced with Kevlar for extra strength and is available in 12 or 22 metres long so you can get creative with your lighting design. Each one is crafted in Italy using aluminium with an opal polycarbonate diffuser and eco-friendly integrated LEDs. The light is touch dimmable but can also be controlled via FLOS Control. This unique phone app allows you to turn your light on or off, adjust the brightness and even change the colour temperature. With infinite design possibilities, the String Light will help you create a truly unique lighting display.

Born in Cyprus, Michael Anastassiades trained at the Royal College of Art before setting up his own London based studio in 1994. His work is featured in permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, the Craft Council in London, the FRAC Centre in Orleans, France, and the MAK in Vienna.
