The story behind this product
A simple design, the Stem table lamp is rooted in an oak base with exposed flex and brass detailing. Dropping splashes of light from its Helix drum to bring focus from the shadows, the Stem table lamp is the ultimate balance between form and function, perfectly suited for a side table or desk.

Handmade within Tom’s studio in Cornwall using laser cut woods which are traditionally steam bent and woven.

The Helix lampshade diffuses the light creating a warm enviorment.

Crafted from sustainably sourced wood.

Brass fittings are mixed with sustainable oak to create the ultimate table lamp.

Believing that every piece of lighting must be beautiful in form and practical in function, Tom Raffield utilise's the traditional craft of steam-bending wood to create expressive and practical pieces of art for your home. Timber is sustainably sourced with all wooden components being made from FSC certified timber. Steam bending is used as the main form of production - a low energy method that produces little waste product.
