Bert & May was founded in 2013 by former barrister Lee Thornley. The brand has since evolved into a specialist supplier of handmade Spanish tiles, engineered wood and natural paints, as well as artisan-made bathroom fittings and architect-designed kitchens. Created in Italy, Bert & May’s natural paints are available in 55 hand-mixed colours. The subtle palette was inspired by the pigments used to make their artisan tiles.

Bert & May’s sculptural concrete sinks are handcrafted in Yorkshire. The brand has also collaborated with Studio Ore to create a collection of elegant hand-finished brass fixtures & fittings.

Taking up residence in the Heal’s Cabin, Bert & May will be bringing a plethora of samples and swatches, as well as expert staff to advise on projects large and small. Shoppers will be encouraged to get creative at a dedicated #BertsBoards moodboard station, where they can experiment with a cohesive collection of tiles, paints and fabrics to create a whole new interior.
