- Product Story
Original mid-century design that’s perfectly suited to small spaces
Lovingly made by hand to capture the same passion and quality of the original design, to this day each Originals Drop Leaf Table is made within Ercol’s British workshops by expert craftsmen using only the highest quality hardwoods.
Perfect for small spaces, this table has the added space saving flexibility of drop leaves on either side when the table is not in use, making it perfect for smaller spaces. When fully opened it seats four guests with ease or even a cosy 6 can even squeeze around it.
Outward facing, tapered beech legs are set at an angle, giving the Drop Leaf Table its distinctive mid-century profile, which is topped with a smoothly sculpted solid elm top.

Born 1888 in Italy, Lucian Ercolani moved to London with his family in the 1890s before studying design and furniture making. Having worked within the design teams for what would later become Parker Knoll and G-Plan, in 1920 Ercolani founded Ercol and began producing the company's characteristic blend of contemporary design and traditional British craft.View Designer
