Normann Copenhagen is a Danish design house founded in 1999, with a catalogue that covers the Just chair, the Form collection, the Rime sofa and a broad range of lighting, textiles and tableware. The studio works with designers including Simon Legald, Hans Hornemann and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen, with manufacturing across Nordic and European workshops.

    The catalogue is one of the broadest in contemporary Danish design, covering seating (Form, Just, Era), lighting (Amp, Hué, Bell) and a wide range of accessories. Normann's signature is in balancing warmth with sharp graphic edit, which is what distinguishes it from more formal Scandinavian houses.

    Key long-term collaborators include Simon Legald (Form, Era, Herit), Hans Hornemann (Bell, Just) and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen (Geo, Washing Up Bowl). Each designer's work is credited openly, and new commissions are released alongside the established bestsellers.

    Production runs through European workshops chosen for each craft, upholstery in Denmark, metalwork in Italy, timber components across Eastern Europe. Design and quality control are centralised in Copenhagen, which keeps the visual identity consistent.

    The catalogue sits in the upper-contemporary bracket, meaningfully above fast-furniture pricing, but more accessible than the premium Danish houses like Fritz Hansen or Carl Hansen. The quality-to-price ratio is one of the strongest in contemporary Scandinavian design.
