    Most quality rechargeable lamps run for 6 to 12 hours on a full charge at their warmest setting, dropping to around 4 to 5 hours on higher brightness. A three-to-four hour recharge through USB-C returns a full battery, making them practical for evening-only use around a home or for moving outdoors to a dinner table.

    Portable lamps rated IP44 or above handle splashes and garden use, making them the flexible choice for summer dining or patio evenings. Keep them sheltered from direct rain, bring them indoors overnight for charging, and look for the IP rating clearly marked on the product page if outdoor use is the brief.
