    Integrated LED floor lamps last for decades of normal use without bulb replacement, and their power consumption is a fraction of halogen or incandescent equivalents. The LED source also runs cool, which suits linen and paper shades that would scorch near hotter bulbs. Dimming is typically smoother and quieter than older switching systems.

    Most LED floor lamps in our range come with integrated dimming, operated via an in-line switch, a foot dimmer or a smart app depending on the model. The dimming range varies between manufacturers, with premium options offering dim-to-warm technology that shifts to a warmer colour temperature at lower levels. Check the product page for specifics.

    A 2700 to 3000K warm white works best for evening reading, reducing eye strain while keeping the room relaxing. Cooler temperatures (above 3500K) are better suited to detailed task work than reading novels. Dim-to-warm LEDs shift automatically and avoid the decision entirely.

    Some integrated LED lamps allow field replacement of the LED module, while others are designed as sealed lifetime units. Product pages list the approach for each model. The LED modules in sealed designs typically last 25,000 to 50,000 hours, which is decades of normal domestic use.
