    An enduring icon of mid-century modern design, the Saarinen Dining Table by Knoll brings sculptural elegance to the heart of the home. Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957, its distinctive black pedestal base replaces traditional table legs with a single, graceful form, creating a beautifully uncluttered silhouette. This timeless dining table makes an elegant centrepiece for everything from everyday meals to relaxed entertaining. Combining exceptional craftsmanship with considered design, Saarinen offers a sophisticated addition to both classic and contemporary dining spaces.

    • Designed by Eero Saarinen in 1957 for Knoll, the iconic Pedestal Collection was created to eliminate the visual clutter of traditional table legs.
    • A sculptural cast-aluminium pedestal base with a black, corrosion-resistant Rilsan finish creates an elegant contrast with the natural marble tabletop.
    • Available in round and oval designs with a choice of marble finishes, each featuring distinctive natural veining that makes every table unique.

    Knoll carefully selects premium natural marble for its distinctive colour and veining, with each tabletop individually cut and finished by skilled craftspeople. A protective polyester coating creates a durable, non-porous surface while preserving the stone's natural beauty. As marble is a natural material, variations in colour and pattern make every table unique.

    • For everyday cleaning, gently dust your furniture with a soft, dry cloth. If further cleaning is needed, use a soft, slightly damp, well-wrung cloth and dry the surface immediately afterwards.
    • Avoid abrasive cleaning products or equipment, harsh chemicals and excessive moisture, as these may damage the furniture's finish. Wipe up any spills promptly and avoid leaving liquids on surfaces.

    Heal’s uses our own specialist two-man crews, who will deliver to a room of your choice. They will fully assemble your furniture, check their work and the remove all packaging, which will be disposed of responsibly.

    We offer hassle-free returns and all online furniture orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery, regardless of reason. 

    Contact us and we will arrange for a crew to come out and collect the furniture. There's no charge if it's faulty, but we do charge for change-of-mind returns.
