From the 1930s to the 1960s, Hadeland Glassverk was one of Norway’s largest suppliers of lighting, with deliveries to many public and private buildings in Norway and abroad. The archive lights were designed by a design team consisting of Jonas Hidle and Arnulf Bjørshol at the time. In the winter of 2018, Hadeland Glassverk brushed the dust off the old product catalogues, and in the spring of 2019, eight archive lamps were blown again. Today’s design team has tended to these precious classics by emphasising and modernising small details, and adding new beautiful colours and fixtures.
