    YuYu's elongated 80cm bottle wraps around the body rather than sitting as a single heat point, delivering warmth to shoulders, neck or lower back in a way standard hot water bottles cannot. The long shape was developed to solve the problem of cold shoulders during evenings on a sofa, and has since become the definitive premium hot water bottle format.

    Cashmere and wool covers are handwash only with wool-safe detergent, while organic cotton and some faux-fur covers are machine-washable on a delicate cycle at 30 degrees. Each product page lists specific care instructions. Covers are removable from the bottle for cleaning, and replacement covers are available for refreshing the look without replacing the full piece.

    A YuYu bottle filled with hot water stays usefully warm for 4 to 6 hours, with the cover material slowing heat loss compared with uncovered bottles. The longer bottle format holds more water than a standard bottle, which extends the warm time by 1 to 2 hours. Cover material affects perceived warmth more than actual heat retention.

    YuYu sits firmly in the considered-gifting category, particularly popular for housewarming, winter birthdays, and new-parent gifts.
