    NOMA is a British brand based in London, designing lighting and decorative homeware that ships across the UK and internationally. The London studio oversees design and quality control, with manufacturing partnerships across Asia and Europe depending on the product category. The brand's aesthetic carries a distinctly British sensibility across the range.

    NOMA outdoor-rated festoon lights carry IP44 certification or higher, making them suitable for garden use in British weather. The domestic indoor festoons are not outdoor-rated and should stay inside. Each product page clearly marks the IP rating, so the choice for garden use is straightforward.

    NOMA LED lights are rated for 25,000 to 30,000 hours of use, which translates to 10 to 15 years of typical festoon use (a few hours per evening, summer and Christmas seasons). This is 10 times longer than incandescent festoons, and the tradeoff for the higher upfront cost is that the lights rarely need replacing.

    NOMA Christmas lighting is built to be reused across multiple seasons rather than discarded annually, with durable cable jackets and weatherproof ratings. Many designs run on transformers that work indoor and outdoor, giving flexibility between a mantelpiece display one year and a garden display the next.
