Musango produces hand-crafted African wax-print textiles and home accessories, working with small workshops and traditional cloth-makers across Ghana and neighbouring West African nations. The cushions, throws and soft accessories bring saturated colour and strong graphic pattern into the home, with every piece traceable back to its maker.

    Wax-print cloth, sometimes called Dutch wax or Ankara, is produced using a wax-resist dyeing technique that gives the patterns their characteristic depth and slight crack lines. The craft is central to West African textile tradition and the origin of the prints' unmistakable visual identity.

    Production is split across workshops in Ghana, with fabric sourced directly from established West African printers. Each cushion and throw is traceable to the workshop that stitched and finished it, with maker credits on the brand's product pages.

    Yes, all covers are removable for washing and care, with a concealed zip at the base. The wax-print cotton is robust and can be cool-machine-washed with a mild detergent; reshape and air-dry rather than tumble-drying to preserve the pattern's vibrance.

    The patterns are confident, so restrict them to one or two pieces on a sofa or bed rather than a full set. They sit well against plain linen, velvet or chambray, where the pattern anchors a calm background rather than competing with another print.
