    Integrated LED pendants allow more refined fixture design, as the designer doesn't need to accommodate a standard-sized bulb housing. The LED module is usually rated for 25,000 to 50,000 hours, far beyond any halogen or incandescent bulb. Integrated designs also typically offer smoother dimming.

    Some LED pendants allow field replacement of the LED module when eventually needed, while others are sealed lifetime units. Product pages specify the approach per model. Sealed units usually outlast the fixture in normal domestic use, so replacement is rarely required.

    Warm white (2700 to 3000K) flatters most interior schemes and works for ambient, task and accent pendant applications. Cooler temperatures can read clinical in domestic settings. Dim-to-warm LEDs shift automatically, adding refinement without requiring separate decisions.

    LED pendants usually need an LED-compatible dimmer on the circuit, which may differ from older dimmers designed for halogen or incandescent loads. The fixture description lists compatible dimming protocols. An electrician can confirm whether your existing dimmer suits the new fitting.
