    Kodanska glass is hand-blown in the Czech Republic, where the brand partners with multi-generational glass-blowing workshops. The design happens in Copenhagen, with the Czech production partners selected for their specialist hand-blowing skills. Each piece carries the natural variation of genuine hand-blown work rather than machine-consistent reproduction.

    Kodanska's pieces are hand-blown rather than machine-pressed, which produces subtle variations in shape, wall thickness and bubble patterns between nominally identical pieces. These differences are signatures of the craft rather than flaws. The tactile and visual character of hand-blown glass is different from factory-produced alternatives in ways that justify the higher price point.

    All Kodanska vases are fully watertight and suitable for fresh flowers, cleaned with warm water and a soft brush between uses. Cut flowers benefit from water changes every 2 to 3 days, and the clear glass allows visible water clouding to act as a reminder. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which scratch the interior surface over time.

    Some Kodanska pieces are designed for tableware use (tumblers, carafes, dessert bowls), while others are purely decorative. Each product page clearly specifies the intended use. Dishwasher compatibility varies piece by piece, with handwashing generally recommended to preserve the clarity of the hand-blown glass over years of use.
