Jules Pansu has been weaving tapestry-rich cushions in Paris since 1878, translating works by Picasso, Cocteau and Sonia Delaunay into dense Jacquard fabrics on looms still run by hand. Each cushion is lined in premium cotton and finished with the Maison's signature craftsmanship, bringing Parisian artistry into the home.

    The Maison specialises in Jacquard weaving, a slow, densely layered technique that translates fine-art compositions into tapestry-quality textiles. Every cushion is woven in Paris, with colour reproduction overseen in-house to stay faithful to the original artwork.

    The archive spans licensed editions of Picasso, Cocteau, Delaunay and Matisse, alongside in-house collections rooted in the Maison's own 140-year pattern library. Each piece is released in limited runs, with the artist or foundation named on the label.

    Treat them as small pieces of textile art: one or two on a sofa or armchair rather than a matched set. They sit beautifully against plain linen upholstery, velvet or boucle, where the density of the weave becomes the focal point.

    The Jacquard fronts are hand-wash or dry-clean only, though the backing and inner cushion can be refreshed separately. Rotating the covers seasonally keeps the colours bright and the weave even.
