Gazzda

Gazzda works exclusively with FSC-certified solid wood, crafting minimalist Nordic-influenced tables, chairs and storage in small European workshops. The collections favour honest joinery, natural oils and the structural qualities of oak, so each piece reads as material first, design second.

The brand uses FSC-certified European oak as its primary timber, supplemented by walnut on select pieces. All finishes are natural oils and waxes rather than lacquers, which keeps the grain visible and allows the wood to age gracefully.

Production happens in small workshops across central and eastern Europe, chosen for their traditional cabinetry skills. Every Gazzda piece is signed off against the same specification, which is what keeps the quality consistent across collections.

Dust with a soft cloth and wipe spills promptly, since oiled oak is porous and can mark. An occasional application of furniture oil, every six to twelve months, refreshes the surface and keeps the grain hydrated.

The proportions are considered for compact urban homes, with slim-profile tables, stackable stools and modular storage alongside the larger dining pieces. The minimalist silhouettes make smaller rooms feel more considered, not more crowded.
