    Christina Lundsteen products are designed in Copenhagen and manufactured by a curated network of European workshops specialising in the specific techniques each collection requires. Velvet cushions, embroidered designs and woven throws each come from different production partners, with the common thread being European craft manufacturing rather than volume overseas production.

    The brand sits at the bold end of Scandinavian design, using saturated colour, tactile fabrics like mohair and velvet, and geometric patterns that draw on both mid-century and contemporary influences. The collections are designed to add colour to an otherwise restrained Scandi interior, rather than to blend into a muted palette.

    Velvet cushions benefit from a gentle vacuum with an upholstery brush every few weeks to remove dust from the pile, and spot-cleaning with a damp cloth for small marks. Avoid machine-washing unless the product page specifically permits it. Professional dry cleaning is the safer choice for deeper cleaning of quality velvet, every 2 to 3 years or as needed.

    Christina Lundsteen produces cushions in standard UK and European sizes including 40 by 60cm rectangles, 50 by 50cm squares and 60 by 60cm oversized squares.
