Act of Caring

Act of Caring is a Swedish wellness brand producing slow-made accessories for the home, bath and body, towels, aprons, cloths and robes in washed linen and organic cotton. Every piece is made in limited batches in Europe, with natural dyes and a stated focus on repairable, long-lived textiles.

The range covers washed-linen bath towels, cotton robes, kitchen aprons, waffle cloths and body-care accessories. The brief across the collection is slow-made, low-impact textiles that become more tactile with use rather than wearing out.

Production is split between European mills in Portugal, Lithuania and the Baltic region, all audited for fibre traceability and labour standards. Small batch sizes keep the turnover tight, so stock reflects current colourways rather than long-run basics.

Washed linen is more absorbent per gram than cotton, dries faster and develops a softer hand with every wash. It tends to look more textured in use, which suits bathrooms where the towels are visible rather than tucked away.

The natural-linen and stoneware-toned colour palette presents well, and most pieces arrive in recycled-paper packaging rather than plastic. The robes, waffle towel sets and cotton aprons are the most commonly gifted lines.
