Designed by George Nelson, this piece mid-century is based on the classic 1950's design reissued from the original design documents held by the Vitra Design Museum.

Formed from steam bent birch plywood, numerous strips combine to create this clocks decorative design fixing to a central black disk complete with playfully shaped white arms.

This clock simply and discreetly mounts to the wall and contains and features a high-grade quartz clock-work and 1.5V battery.

George Nelson

Together with Charles & Ray Eames, George Nelson (1908-1986) was one of the founding fathers of American modernism. Born in Hartford Connecticut in 1908, Nelson was part of a generation of architects who revolutionised product, graphic and interior design transforming everyday objects into works of art.
