    Topan is a refined yet playful lighting statement that embodies Verner Panton’s spirit of experimentation.

    In close collaboration between Verner Panton Design AG and &Tradition, Verner Panton’s Topan has been reissued in table lamp form. Originally designed in 1959 as a pendant lamp, the table lamp transforms the spherical Topan pendant into a sculptural, freestanding light. The design plays with perception, transparency, and levity, blurring the boundaries between light, object, and space.

    • A classic 1950s Verner Panton design, reissued by &Tradition.
    • A clear acrylic base creates the illusion of a floating shade.
    • The shade sits freely on the base, allowing it to swivel and direct light as desired.
