    The Sendai Rug from Louis De Poortere takes inspiration from traditional Indian fabric techniques, where colours melt into one another in delicate, tie-dye-like gradients. Reinterpreted with a contemporary eye, the design focuses on fluid transitions of colour and a sense of movement, balancing spontaneity with structure. In the Deep Water colourway, deep blue-green tones fade into softer shades and pale highlights, creating a layered composition with depth and quiet drama. Woven in Belgium on Jacquard looms from 100% polyester, it combines over a century of Louis De Poortere craftsmanship with a durable, washable and fully recyclable construction.

    • Louis de poortere rugs can be machine washed to remove the dirt and stubborn marks that regular vacuuming and spot cleaning can’t shift. Every louis de poortere can be washed on a gentle spin cycle at 30°c to restore its appearance and give years of use in the home.
    • Vacuum clean regularly, do not pull the loose ends, trim with scissors.
    • Remove spills immediately, blot any liquid with a clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel.

    We use DPD courier service for most of our orders. Once they've picked up your order from us, we'll send you a tracking link by email. They offer a one-hour slot and the opportunity to switch it if not convenient.
