The Sendai Rug from Louis De Poortere takes inspiration from traditional Indian fabric techniques, where colours flow into one another through soft, tie-dye-like gradients. Reworked with a contemporary sensibility, the design captures the fluidity and movement of these artisanal effects through large areas of gently shifting colour. The Cottage Grey colourway brings together warm grey, stone and cream tones for a softer, understated look that sits naturally within contemporary interiors. Woven in Belgium on Jacquard looms from 100% polyester, it combines more than a century of craftsmanship with a durable, washable and fully recyclable construction.

Louis de poortere rugs can be machine washed to remove the dirt and stubborn marks that regular vacuuming and spot cleaning can’t shift. Every louis de poortere can be washed on a gentle spin cycle at 30°c to restore its appearance and give years of use in the home.
Vacuum clean regularly, do not pull the loose ends, trim with scissors.
Remove spills immediately, blot any liquid with a clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel.
