A shared love of honest materials and contemporary design formed the basis of this collaboration between Seppe van Heusden and Serax. Seam is a versatile collection of lamps made from porcelain and metal. The idea was to develop a cohesive lighting line with designs that highlight the unique qualities of the materials used. The name refers to the distinct seam on the top of the lamp, created by the traditional porcelain casting process. Instead of hiding or concealing these seams, van Heusden chose to highlight them as a defining feature of the design.
