A light, elegant dining chair by Poul Kjærholm, hand-woven in paper cord with a refined black steel frame.

Originally designed in 1955, Poul Kjærholm’s PK1 Chair embodies his functionalist approach and signature blend of industrial and organic materials. Reissued by Carl Hansen & Søn in 2017, the chair features a sleek black powder-coated steel frame and a natural paper cord seat, offering a refined balance of comfort, lightness, and aesthetics.

Hand-woven over 15 hours using 180 metres of cord, showcasing craftsmanship on both front and back.
Combining an airy steel frame with natural paper cord, the PK1 offers an iconic fusion of industrial structure and organic texture.
