[ Product Story ]

A tub style chair that is modelled on the antique rush chair, Papyrus features a glossy interior and contrasting vertical reeding.

Taking the archetypal rush chair as its starting point, Papyrus Chair reimagines the traditional hardwood and woven design using innovative plastic moulding processes. Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, this flared seat is embellished with a patterned relief of thick bands and thin vertical textured lines, while the glossy interior creates a comfortable shell in which to recline into.

Made from recycled material, Polycarbonate 2.0, sourced from renewable resources, ensuring durability while supporting a greener future.
Designed by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec and brought to life by Kartell.
Suitable for both indoor or outdoor use and stackable.
