The Nesso Table Lamp, a 1960s design icon, blends bold curves, visionary materials, and timeless artistic significance.

Designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova during the glamorous 1960s, the Nesso Table Lamp is an international icon of futuristic, democratic design. First introduced in 1967, it pioneered ABS thermoplastic injection moulding, bringing industrial materials and methods into home and office environments. With its bold curves and nature-inspired design, Nesso is part of Artemide’s visionary identity. A true collectible and expressive statement piece, it holds a place in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art, solidifying its status as a globally acclaimed design classic.
