    Designed by Barber Osgerby for Vitra, the Mikado Side Chair is a contemporary upholstered dining chair with elegant curves and a flexible backrest.

    The Mikado Side Chair combines contemporary elegance with exceptional comfort. Its softly sculpted silhouette and fully upholstered seat create an inviting place to sit, while the flexible backrest responds naturally to movement. Designed for everything from everyday dining to leisurely evenings around the table, Mikado offers a refined balance of form and function. With its understated aesthetic and considered proportions, this upholstered dining chair complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.

    • Designed in 2024 by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby for Vitra, combining contemporary elegance with thoughtful functionality.
    • A concealed mechanism allows the flexible backrest to recline gently, adapting to the sitter's movements for enhanced comfort.
    • A recycled polypropylene backrest shell, replaceable upholstery and felt glides combine considered construction with everyday practicality.

    You'll be given a named day delivery then advised of the approximate time slot the day before. Many items are delivered assembled, so you only need to unpack them.
