A framed print capturing one of cinema’s most iconic moments, featuring Marilyn Monroe in The Seven Year Itch, a lasting symbol of Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Marilyn Monroe (June 1, 1926 – August 4, 1962) was an American actress, model, and singer famous for playing comedic ‘blonde bombshell’ characters in films produced during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Monroe was a key figure in the changing attitudes towards sexuality during the 1950’s and 1960’s and long after her death, she has continued to be a major pop culture icon. This infamous publicity still comes from Billy Wilder's 1955 film ‘The Seven Year Itch’ in which Monroe stood above a subway grate fighting an upward breeze in a dress designed by William Travillay. This moment has been described as one of the most iconic scenes in film history.
