Past and present merge in the KD28 lamp by Joe Colombo for Kartell, which assumes a new lease of life in recycled materials.

First introduced back in 1967, the KD28 lamp still maintains its original innovative spirit but has been adapted to modern-day needs by the use of advanced materials and technology. The table lamp is now made from recycled materials and boasts a satin-finish shade that projects a warmer, more enveloping light. Drawing on a rich past but with a clear focus on the future, the renewed KD28 is a symbol of Kartell’s stylistic and creative continuity.

A retro 1967 design by Joe Colombo.
The structure remains faithful to the historic proportions, while the dome-shaped diffuser now features a matte finish to ensure a softer, even light distribution.
Special attention is given to the details, such as the fabric-covered power cable perfectly colour-coordinated with the base.
