Create minimalist ikebana displays with this neat monochrome set of four small kenzan from Niwaki, made in Japan.

Up your ikebana game with this neat monochrome set of four small (31mm) kenzan. A fine accompaniment to minimalist displays, especially if you want to limit the colour palette of your display or control the attention that is given to the dish or bowl you’re using. They might look dainty, but these sharp pins can support a range of woody stems and green stalks, working well with fresh and dried flowers.

Place the Kenzan at the bottom of a shallow container of choice.
Carefully insert floral stems and branches onto the pins to form the desired arrangement.
Add just enough water to cover the top of the pins and the stalks.
