    The Fading World Rug from Louis De Poortere reimagines an ancient design with a modern twist. Its central medallion, an enduring motif of traditional rug design, is woven into a deliberately distressed framework, while faded pattern sections create a softer, more contemporary feel. The Milk Curry colourway keeps the palette light and tonal, allowing the intricate design to sit quietly within an interior. Woven in Belgium on Jacquard looms from 100% polyester, the rug draws on more than a century of Louis De Poortere craftsmanship while remaining highly durable, washable and fully recyclable.

    • Louis de poortere rugs can be machine washed to remove the dirt and stubborn marks that regular vacuuming and spot cleaning can’t shift. Every louis de poortere can be washed on a gentle spin cycle at 30°c to restore its appearance and give years of use in the home.
    • Vacuum clean regularly, do not pull the loose ends, trim with scissors.
    • Remove spills immediately, blot any liquid with a clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel.

    We use DPD courier service for most of our orders. Once they've picked up your order from us, we'll send you a tracking link by email. They offer a one-hour slot and the opportunity to switch it if not convenient.
