    The Fading World Rug from Louis De Poortere reimagines an ancient design with a modern twist. A central medallion is woven into a deliberately distressed framework, with sections of the pattern appearing to fade into the background for a layered, time-worn effect. In the rich Blue Night colourway, deep blue tones are punctuated by brighter accents, giving the traditional motif a striking contemporary edge. Woven in Belgium on Jacquard looms from 100% polyester, it combines more than a century of craftsmanship with a durable, washable and fully recyclable construction.

    • Louis de poortere rugs can be machine washed to remove the dirt and stubborn marks that regular vacuuming and spot cleaning can’t shift. Every louis de poortere can be washed on a gentle spin cycle at 30°c to restore its appearance and give years of use in the home.
    • Vacuum clean regularly, do not pull the loose ends, trim with scissors.
    • Remove spills immediately, blot any liquid with a clean, dry, undyed cloth or paper towel.

    We use DPD courier service for most of our orders. Once they've picked up your order from us, we'll send you a tracking link by email. They offer a one-hour slot and the opportunity to switch it if not convenient.
