An iconic Eames home office chair combining soft cushioned upholstery, an adjustable tilt mechanism and elegant four-star swivel base.

The Soft Pad Chair EA 231 brings the iconic comfort and refined silhouette of the Soft Pad Group to the home office. Individually sewn-on cushions soften its slender aluminium structure, providing generous support without compromising its clean architectural lines. An adjustable tilt mechanism and upright seat angle are designed for desk work, while the four-star swivel base without castors gives the chair a relaxed, residential character.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1969, combining slender aluminium profiles with generously cushioned upholstery for exceptional comfort.
An adjustable backward tilt, forward locking position and continuous gas-spring height adjustment provide comfortable support while working.
