An iconic Eames lounge chair with a recycled plastic shell and Cat's Cradle base for relaxed comfort and timeless style.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, the Plastic Armchair RE LAR combines the iconic moulded shell with the distinctive Cat's Cradle wire base, creating a relaxed, lounge-height take on the celebrated 1950 design. Crafted by Vitra, the seat is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, offering a more sustainable interpretation of a design classic. Compact and lightweight, it brings enduring comfort and timeless mid-century style to living spaces, reading corners and contemporary interiors.
