An iconic Eames armchair with a recycled plastic shell and minimalist steel X-Base for timeless indoor and outdoor versatility.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames, the Plastic Armchair RE DAX pairs the iconic moulded shell with a clean-lined tubular steel X-Base for a refined, contemporary look. Crafted by Vitra, the seat is made from post-consumer recycled plastic, offering a more sustainable interpretation of the original 1950 design. Combining timeless mid-century style with everyday durability, it is ideal for dining spaces, home offices and both indoor and outdoor settings.

Tubular steel X-Base offers a clean, minimalist aesthetic and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
