An iconic solid ash dining chair by Lucian R. Ercolani, combining steam-bent curves with traditional Windsor joinery and timeless British craftsmanship.

The Butterfly Chair is an enduring icon of British furniture design. Crafted from solid ash, its distinctive steam-bent seat and backrest create the wing-like silhouette that gives the chair its name, balancing sculptural form with supportive comfort. Traditional Windsor wedge and tenon joinery brings strength and durability to its lightweight frame, while a choice of wood finishes allows Butterfly to complement a variety of interiors.

Designed by Lucian R. Ercolani and launched in 1956, with a distinctive steam-bent seat and backrest forming its iconic Butterfly silhouette.
Crafted from solid ash using traditional Windsor wedge and made in the UK.
