A scented candle inspired by breakfast at Leipzig’s Café Zimmerman in 1723. Strong coffee, almond pastries and pipe tobacco.

Warm coffee and buttery almond pastries mingle with the scent of pipe tobacco, steamed milk, and the soft glow of an old fireplace. Inspired by the Leipzig café where Bach is said to have written his famous Java Cantata in the 1700s, this D.S. & Durga candle captures the comforting ritual of breakfast: newspapers rustling, conversations rising and the rich scent of coffee filling the room. Cosy, nostalgic and gently gourmand, it brings the atmosphere of a historic café into the home.

Top notes: javanese coffee, almond kutchen & pastry.
Heart notes: tobacco leaf & butter.
Base notes: leather upholstery & fireplace.

Place on a heatproof surface. Ensure your wick is trimmed to 5mm before lighting. Allow the candle to burn until the wax is molten across the complete surface of the glass. This prevents tunnelling.
Caution: never leave unattended. Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable items. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Keep away from drafts.
Container will be hot when candle is lit and shortly thereafter. Allow candle to cool completely before moving.
