Designed by the Joe Colombo in the late 1960's, the Basket Lounge Chair features curvy cushions wrapped in a woven rattan skin.

Designed by the renowned Joe Colombo in the late 1960's, the Basket Collection features curvy cushions wrapped in a woven rattan skin. With its refined materiality, gently retro look, and inviting comfort, GUBI’s edition of the Basket Collection brings Colombo's vision of functional, innovative, future-facing design to life.

Reinterpreted for contemporary living, the Basket Lounge Chair pairs generous, softly rounded cushions with a meticulously hand-woven rattan exterior, delivering a distinctive silhouette, tactile warmth and exceptional comfort.

Replacing Colombo's original fibreglass shell, the core is formed from a more environmentally responsible steel skeleton, providing strength and stability.
Covered with hand-woven rattan made from interlaced strips and oval stakes, a technique that demands a tremendous degree of skill and craftsmanship.

Heal’s uses our own specialist two-man crews, who will deliver to a room of your choice. They will fully assemble your furniture, check their work and the remove all packaging, which will disposed of responsibly.

We offer hassle-free returns and all online furniture orders can be returned within 14 days of delivery, regardless of reason.

Contact us and we will arrange for a crew to come out and collect the furniture. There's no charge if it's faulty, but we do charge for change-of-mind returns.
