    People Will Always Need Plates, founded by Hannah Dipper and Robin Farquhar in 2003, creates timeless, high-quality, functional, and beautiful products.

    Waterloo Station was a mess, with some platforms sharing the same number, until in 1901 the London and South Western’s Chief Engineer, J. W. Jacomb-Hood, studied station design in America. The result was Britain’s first terminus in which the concourse was more important than the train shed, the latter a picturesque lattice of glazed roofs rather than a soaring arch.
