An iconic Eames office chair combining flexible upholstered support, refined aluminium detailing and an adjustable tilt mechanism.

The Aluminium Chair EA 117 is an icon of twentieth-century design. Its distinctive construction stretches a single piece of upholstery between slender aluminium side profiles, creating a supportive yet flexible seat with a refined silhouette. Designed for the workplace, its medium-high backrest and adjustable tilt mechanism provide lasting comfort, while a five-star swivel base makes it a practical and elegant choice for contemporary offices.

Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1958 as part of their iconic Aluminium Group.
Upholstery is stretched between two aluminium side profiles, creating a taut yet flexible seat and backrest with distinctive horizontal ribbing.
Available in a wide choice of fabric and leather upholstery, complemented by chrome-plated or powder-coated aluminium finishes.
