[ KARTELL ]
Masters chair
A thought provoking design, the Masters Chair by Philippe Starck is a hybrid of three iconic chairs by legendary 20th century designers Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen and Charles Eames.
Where innovation meets everyday living
Suitable for anywhere
Whether indoors or outdoors, the superior UV stabilisation and weather resistance of Kartell’s technopolymer ensures long-lasting colour. Available in a pleasing selection, these can be mix and matched to suit your space and creative vision.
Lightweight and vibrant
The Masters range is made from an injection-moulded technopolymer, providing enhanced properties over standard plastic. Incredibly lightweight, this material allows the chairs and stools to be moved effortlessly, with added flexibility when leaning back.

Icons fused
In 2005 Philippe Starck designed the Masters chair, in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet, as a tribute to three iconic chairs and their designers. Its shape re-interprets Arne Jacobsen’s Series 7, Charles and Ray Eames’ DSW, and Eero Saarinen’s Tulip. Individual elements from these three chairs are interwoven to create a unique hybrid design that fuses classic and contemporary design.
