About the role

We are looking for a Buying Admin Assistant to join the team at Heal's Head Office on a full-time basis.

As a Buying Admin Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to the Buyers within the Furniture and Lighting department, helping to ensure the smooth running of the buying function and supporting the team in selecting and merchandising products. 

This a fantastic opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual looking to develop their experience within a busy Buying environment.

You will have:

  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • A customer-focused approach, with a logical and solutions focused mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and take ownership of tasks
  • A positive attitude
  • Previous experience within a retail head office ideally within buying is desirable.
