    Visual Comfort collaborates with a roster of well-known American designers, including Thomas O'Brien, Kelly Wearstler, AERIN, Barbara Barry and Suzanne Kasler. Each designer brings a distinct aesthetic, from O'Brien's restrained classicism to Wearstler's sculptural modernism, giving the Visual Comfort range unusual breadth compared with most single-designer brands.

    Visual Comfort is an American brand headquartered in Houston, Texas, with production split across US assembly facilities and European metalwork specialists. Hand-finishing is carried out in-house, with each piece finished by a craftsperson rather than an automated line, which is a significant part of the brand's positioning.

    Heal's supplies Visual Comfort fittings pre-wired for UK 240-volt mains with CE certification, so installation is handled by a standard electrician without any specialist work. Bulbs are supplied separately and should be chosen in UK-compatible fittings, clearly listed on each product page.
