Togo
Now celebrating half a century in production, Togo was first designed by Michel Ducaroy in 1973 to an award-winning reception, its now-iconic low seat and body-hugging shape conceived to create a relaxed style of seating.
Alcantara fabric
Togo has been upholstered in premium Italian Alcantara fabric since it was first designed. Soft, suede-like and effortlessly luxurious, Alcantara is breathable, durable and easy to care for, making it ideal for everyday use. Its closely guarded technology helps keep you warm in winter and cool in summer, while its strength ensures lasting comfort and peace of mind.
Available in a rich palette of colours, from red and blue to orange, Alcantara retains its vibrancy over time while developing a distinctive patina — a quality still seen today on beautifully preserved vintage Togo pieces.
Togo sofa
Designed by Michel Ducaroy
Michel Ducaroy cut his teeth in the family business before studying in the faculty of sculpture at the École Supérieure Nationale des Beaux Arts de Lyon. It was in 1973 that the designer created his most famous and iconic creation: the legendary Togo sofa.
