    Tall chests typically stand between 120 and 160cm, with six or seven drawers stacked to use the vertical space efficiently. This height works well below standard ceilings and under angled roof lines. Taller chests (above 160cm) suit rooms with higher ceilings and walls without low-set windows.

    Tall chests suit folded clothing, knitwear, underwear, socks and accessories, plus bed linen if space allows. Heavier items work better in lower drawers for ergonomic access. Seasonal rotation is straightforward, as several drawers can each house a complete category.

    Well-made tall chests include wall-fixing brackets to secure the piece against tipping, especially important around children.
